Minerva was abandoned outside a shelter with a heartbreaking note and tears in her eyes: “Our hearts broke for her. She was so terrified.” But soon, her life turned around… check the comments to read her story.
A puppy, a mix of Cane Corso and pit mastiff, only five months old, was left at the Pennsylvania SPCA. The puppy was found tied to a pole with a note saying, “Good Puppy. House Trained. No Name.”
The puppy seemed healthy based on a Facebook post, but it appeared as if she had been shedding tears.
The SPCA had to physically remove the tears from her eyes..
We felt so sad for her. She was very scared… At only five months old, this adorable girl has been left behind by probably the only family she has ever had.
She was secure in our care.
Minerva, the unexpected guest, had arrived and was planning to stay until the SPCA could find her a new home.
Minerva’s tale was incredibly moving, capturing the interest of numerous individuals. It didn’t take much time for the appropriate individuals to reach out to the shelter, expressing their desire to adopt her.
Naturally, numerous people were pleased that Minerva’s tale concluded happily.
A comment on the post congratulated Minerva and her family for adopting the sweet baby and providing her with a wonderful home.
“Wow, those happy faces are so adorable!” exclaimed another person. “You’re incredible! She’s going to be so pampered! No more crying from now on!”
Minerva is fortunate to have found a loving and caring family, unlike many dogs who struggle to find homes.
The SPCA encourages people to consider adoption over purchasing their four-legged friends.
The Pennsylvania SPCA mentioned that more dogs are being abandoned on their property. They also noted an increase in owner surrenders, while adoptions have significantly decreased.
Dogs similar to Minerva arrive daily. We rescue animals from abuse and abandonment, hoping that caring families will adopt them.
We are extremely delighted for Minerva and sincerely wish that many more dogs will find their forever homes.
