Father/daughter bonding time is SO important. We see YouTube user “Dayla” and her dad Kris Jones in a truck. She cues up “Tennessee Whiskey” and he’s off to the races with the vocals. His singing is amazing, he really puts his stamp on this song and makes it his.
They drive along until he finds a parking spot and then he really lays on the singing. If I tried singing this, I’d break all the windows in the truck… and it’s not because I can hit a particularly high note.
I don’t know who the bigger star of this video is: Her dad for his incredible singing or Daylafulla for her irreverent antics in the passenger seat while he’s belting out the tune. I’m going to lean towards Dad, though, since his version of “Tennessee Whiskey” is what is making this video go really viral – it had over 17 million views in a little under two months when it was first uploaded.
Dad clearly has a great talent for singing. Perhaps this will catapult him to fame. What did you think of the video? I loved it.
