A singer recently died in front of his fans while he was on stage performing.
In a shocking freak accident that took place in Brazil, Ayres Sasaki, 35, died on stage when a fan in soaking-wet clothes hugged him during the concert.
According to a report by The Sun US, the rock singer suffered an electric shock due to some cables that were near him when a fan, who was soaking wet, came over and hugged him.
The incident took place on July 13 in Salinopolis, Brazil, while Sasaki was performing on stage.
Speaking of the incident to local media, his aunt Rita Matos said: “What we know is that his show was scheduled for a specific time and was moved up, but we are contacting people who were with him at the moment to understand how everything happened.
“We will gather all the information in a statement that we will release to the press,” she added.
So far, the rest of the family has refrained from talking to any more media personnel.

The Solar Hotel, the venue where the concert took place, also released a statement after the news broke.
“We are fully dedicated to providing support to his family and taking the necessary measures,” they said as per the outlet. “We reaffirm our commitment to fully co-operating with the competent authorities for the proper clarification of the events.”
While it is not known why the fan was wearing wet clothes, local authorities have opened up an investigation into the matter.
Sasaki was a budding performer and away from the stage, his passions lay in architecture and urban planning.
However, his loved ones remember his undying love for music and emphasize his talent.
His friend Adriano Freitas, who is also a singer, told local media: “We were friends in daily life, beyond music. A super charismatic guy, his talent was incredible. He was the best singer and guitarist in Belem.
“A great friend, very family-oriented, attentive to his friendships, and to those who appreciated his work.”
Another friend, comedian Natto Almeida also added: “What will definitely stand out about Sasaki is his good heart, very polite. I think this will be the lasting mark he leaves behind.”
On Instagram, the star often posted snippets of songs while he played the guitar alongside personal photos including his recent wedding ceremony to his wife, Mariana Sasaki.
The investigation into the singer’s sudden death is currently ongoing.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Sasaki’s loved ones during this difficult time.
