There have been many questions about the condition of the royal family in recent months. It also came about as a result of a cancer diagnosis, which was given to King Charles III.
People are understandably curious about the king’s health, and it even escalated as Princess Kate came out with a video stating that she had cancer as well. What do we know about the King’s cancer and what is being done about it?
According to a close source to the royal family, the details about the King and his health are an open secret among staff members. There were other sources who also said that there were concerns about his health before the diagnosis as well.
The palace has been rather quiet about his condition, and it seems as if King Charles is a lot sicker than they are letting on. We can see where this is important because he has to fulfill his daily duties of the monarchy and keep up the family as well.
It all started on January 26, 2024, when King Charles III had surgery for a benign enlarged prostate. The public was then informed on February 5 that he had cancer.
According to the statement: “His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties.”
The statement went on to say that his Majesty would continue to undertake business for the state as usual.
There have been limited public duties that were performed by the king since his diagnosis. In part, it is to keep people from going too far down a rabbit hole with conspiracy theories and false reports. It’s also nice to know that he can perform those duties as well.
According to a source, the king is willing to try any treatment to extend his life by a few years. At this point, he has only been given two years to live, as he is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
At this point, he is following doctors orders and he also knows that Prince William will become king in the event that he dies.
