Donald Trump was sworn in Monday as the 47th president of the United States, returning to the White House for the second time. In his address, he said โThe golden age of America begins right now.โ
He added that the country will โflourish and be respectedโย under his leadershipย as a โpeacemaker and a unifier.โ
The president stated that God had saved him from the assassination, allowing him โto make America great again.โ

When it comes to the First Lady, Melania Trump, reports are she wonโt be living full-time at the White House.
In fact, she would be splitting her time between various locations.
With the coupleโs son, Barron Trump, starting university in New York, the Slovenian former model-turnedย First Ladyย would be spending some time there, as well as at their Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
That Trump has been eager to serve as a president again was more than evident, but the same couldnโt be said of his wife.

In an interview to discuss her memoir, titledย Melania, she was asked whether there would be any differences in how she and Donald moved into the White House this time, compared to their move after the Obama administration.
โThe difference is I know where I will be going, I know the rooms where we will be living. I know the process,โ Melania toldย Fox & Friends.
โThe first time was challenging, we didnโt have much of the information, the information was upheld (withheld) for us from previous administration.โ

According to her, things will be smoother this time around. It will be partly because she and her husband are not relying on their predecessors for key pieces of information.
โBut this time I have everything, I have the plans. I could move in, I already packed โ I already selected the furniture that needs to go in.
โSo itโs a very different transition this time, second time around.โ
Former First Lady Michelle Obama did not join her husband at Trumpโs swearing-in ceremony.
